The Department of Art and Art History offers a minor in art history for undergraduate students, regardless of college or school, who are interested in the field but cannot undertake the major.
All coursework applied to the minor must be completed with a grade of C- or better; no pass/fail work may be applied. The grade point average for all minor degree coursework must be equal to 2.000 (C) or higher.

Art practices majors may apply ARTH 1300 and ARTH 1400 OR ARTH 1500 and ARTH 1600 (both major requirements) toward the completion of an art history minor, but may not apply major electives toward completion of the minor.
