A minor is offered in ethnic studies. Declaration of a minor is open to any student enrolled at CU Boulder, regardless of college or school.
The minor emphasizes engaged scholarship that examines how race and the interrelated categories of ethnicity, gender, class and sexuality impact the lives of people in the United States and around the globe.
To declare a minor, please schedule an appointment with our advisor.
Students must complete 18 credits hours in ethnic studies (ETHN) coursework. All coursework applied to the minor must be completed with a grade of C- or better; no pass/fail work may be applied. The grade point average for all minor coursework must be equal to 2.0 (C) or higher.
